Yep, that tickler file never fails! The habit is one to develop - checking it every morning no matter what.

WOW - thanks for this great tip. I am quite "challenged" when it comes to follow through and although I use Outlook to remind me of many items, some do fall through the cracks. I love this tickler file idea - I'll set one up today!

You're welcome Cena! I simply could not live without my tickler file. People have to first get in the habits of using it daily but once the habit is formed, it can be a life saver.

Natalie - This is a great idea and example of how using your tickler file helps you stay on top of those annoying little follow up tasks that sometimes dominate our world! Thanks for sharing! - Cena

Natalie, ever since you shared the tickler system with me last year, I've been LOVING IT. I love handling a task one day, and following up on it on another - without ever having to think about it in between...or worse, having to stare at the item as a pile on my desk until it's resolved. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

P.S.: How much do I love that you asked to speak to the President of the Company? A LOT!
