Juana was having trouble balancing her job, her home, and her kids.
Take one husband, two flourishing careers, two kids with sports and music activities, and you have one busy life. Juana called me from Davis, California, to seek help getting her life on track. She was juggling things day-to-day, but always felt that she was on the edge of losing control. Her recent promotion and new responsibilities took even more energy, and she was very concerned about spending quality time with the boys. She wanted her family to work together to keep things under control.
I interviewed both Juana and her husband and toured the main areas of their home. We talked about their likes and dislikes and the division of household duties. I created a plan and returned to go over it with them, showing them how to set up new systems. We then walked through the process to make sure everything worked for them and that they understood how to implement the plan.
Juana wrote me later, saying the systems are successful in keeping her family organized. Their young boys are part of the team now and have streamlined the morning routine with some job charts and rewards! She is now able to get off to work without stress, and she feels much more in control. She’s able to devote her full attention to her new job while knowing her family is also happy, active, and on track. Everyone wins. |

Diane was racing around frantically supporting everyone in her family until we worked together on getting her organized.
Diane is a realtor in Citrus Heights, California, with a busy family that includes her husband and fourth grade daughter. She was keeping track of everyone’s schedule, working out of her home and car, and was constantly struggling to find things. She called me to help her organize her home office.
When I interviewed Diane, it was clear that the disorganized office was a reflection of her disorganized life. She was overwhelmed and exhausted from running from one urgent thing to the next.
We set up a daily routine incorporating the use of action and tickler files, and set up an office that perfectly fits her style and personality. Now Diane can find what she needs right away, and she’s able to stay on top of managing her business and her family because she always knows what the next step is. |

See how Angela achieved an organized office and revitalized her home-based business.
Angela is an executive in a direct sales business, a grandmother of 8 and lives in Lincoln, California, with her husband. She is not only responsible for her own business, but she also has a team of women whom she trains and guides. Angela had recently moved into a new home and needed help with a space plan for her office to maximize its usability.
I went to her new home and measured her space, looked at the furniture she was keeping, and made recommendations for how to set up her new desk and storage areas. Over the course of a few weeks, we had moved her in and created a well-thought-out office that worked for her.
But wait, there’s more! I also consulted with Angela to set up her day-to-day business systems so that tasks would no longer be forgotten, papers would get filed, and she could stay on top of building her profitable team. Angela now has a new, beautifully organized office and a new approach based on efficiency and profitability. Her stress level is down and she can fully enjoy the women she works with. |
